Your choice matters: Even if your doctor suggested another facility, you can choose CID for your imaging needs.
Posted on P. Flinn Schanuel2 May 2024 Some times , some days , some hours, or even some phone calls can result in a bad encounter with this facility, but overall CID is a really good place that Hemet is lucky to have accessible in town. Be patient if you have to have a non-stat appointment scheduled, then don't miss it. It has many services available on site. Service dogs are allowed. Waiting rooms are clean, orderly, and have TV Plasmas set up. On my most recent visit to CID, I was scheduled to get biopsies on a mobile traveling unit (Dedicated Biopsy Services). I was hesitant, but the mobile unit was clean & well equipped. The technicians were excellent, the doctor was experienced & knowledgeable, and they were all polite, kind, informative, and professional. Although I don't recommend biopsies for fun, I do give this most recent experience an overall thumbs up. Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is a noninvasive imaging technique used in modern diagnostics. It uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of blood vessels. Physicians can assess arteries and veins without surgery.
MRA is useful for diagnosing aneurysms, stenosis, and other vascular abnormalities. It provides important information that guides treatment plans and improves patient outcomes.
Unlike traditional angiography techniques, MRA creates high-resolution images without exposing patients to ionizing radiation. This makes it safer for repeated use, especially for patients who need ongoing vascular health monitoring.
MRA can be performed with or without contrast agents. This provides flexibility for patients who have allergies or contraindications to certain substances.
At California Imaging and Diagnostics, our radiology team uses advanced MRA technology to serve the Hemet, CA community with care.

At California Imaging and Diagnostics, we specialize in Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA), an imaging technique that provides detailed images of blood vessels. MRA helps diagnose vascular conditions with precision.
Unlike traditional methods, MRA does not expose patients to radiation. This makes it safer for people who need regular monitoring or who are sensitive to radiation.
A key advantage of MRA is its non-invasive nature. Patients experience minimal discomfort because the procedure does not require incisions or catheters. This reduces the risk of complications and allows for quicker recovery.
The detailed images from MRA allow our radiologists to make accurate diagnoses and create effective treatment plans for each patient.

GOT QUESTIONS?
MRA, or Magnetic Resonance Angiography, is a type of MRI scan that focuses on blood vessels. It uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of arteries and veins for diagnosing and treating vascular conditions.
Preparation for an MRA scan involves a few steps. Patients should avoid eating or drinking for several hours before the test, remove metal objects such as jewelry or eyeglasses, and tell the radiology team about any medical implants or conditions, such as pregnancy or kidney issues.
MRA is generally safe with minimal risks. It does not use ionizing radiation, unlike traditional X-rays or CT scans. However, patients with certain metal implants, such as pacemakers or aneurysm clips, may not be eligible for MRA due to the strong magnetic fields used. Our radiology team will review your medical history to confirm the procedure is safe for you.
MRA is effective for diagnosing and evaluating conditions related to blood vessels, such as aneurysms, stenosis (narrowing of blood vessels), blockages, and congenital vascular malformations. It is also used for evaluating blood flow in various parts of the body, including the brain, neck, heart, and limbs.
At California Imaging and Diagnostics, we provide quick results. Our radiology team analyzes the images within 24 to 48 hours, and a report is sent to your referring physician. This ensures you receive information to guide your healthcare decisions.
