California Imaging and Diagnostics Medical Group, LLC is committed to ensuring that our website at cidrad.com is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and to meet the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. § 794d), as amended, which governs the accessibility of electronic and information technology for entities receiving federal financial assistance.
As a Medicare and Medicaid participating provider, California Imaging and Diagnostics is subject to both the ADA Title III accessibility standard and Section 508 federal accessibility requirements.
We have implemented the following accessibility features on cidrad.com:
Alternative Text. Images on our website include descriptive alternative text so that screen readers can convey meaningful descriptions to users with visual impairments.
Keyboard Navigation. Our website is designed to be navigable using keyboard-only commands, enabling users who cannot use a mouse or pointing device to access all content and functions.
Readable Fonts and Color Contrast. We use font styles and sizes selected to improve readability and maintain appropriate color contrast between text and background elements in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements.
Skip to Content. A skip navigation link is available at the beginning of each page to allow screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation elements and reach the main content directly.
Structured Headings. Pages use a logical heading hierarchy to support screen reader navigation and document structure comprehension.
Descriptive Link Text. Links are written to be meaningful when read out of context, avoiding generic labels such as “click here.”
Multimedia Accessibility. Where applicable, we provide closed captions or transcripts for video and multimedia content to ensure access for users with hearing impairments.
Responsive Design. The website is designed to reflow and remain usable across a range of screen sizes and zoom levels without loss of content or functionality.
As a covered entity receiving federal financial assistance through Medicare and Medicaid participation, California Imaging and Diagnostics is committed to compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Section 508 requires that electronic and information technology be accessible to people with disabilities, including employees and members of the public.
We apply Section 508 standards to the electronic content on cidrad.com, including our online scheduling tools, patient portal access links, contact forms, and informational content. Where third-party platforms are used (including AmbraHealth, OpenDR, and ImaginePay), we select vendors who share our commitment to accessibility and encourage reporting of any accessibility barriers encountered on those platforms.
We acknowledge that accessibility is an ongoing process. Some content provided by third-party services or embedded tools may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA or Section 508 standards. We are working to identify and address these limitations as they are discovered.
If you encounter any content on cidrad.com that is not accessible to you, or if you need information in an alternative format such as large print, audio, or another accessible format, please contact us. We will work to provide the information or assistance you need in a timely manner.
